VOELKER -Anthony M. Jr., of Nissequogue, LI, on August 13, 2009.
Chief, New York City Police Department, Organized Crime Control Bureau, Retired. He served 38 years on the New York City Police Department, retiring as a three star chief. He began his police career after his discharge from the United States Army, where he served in Korea, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant and earning a Bronze Star.
Beloved husband of the late Lucille. Cherished father of Anthony (Denise), Thomas, Julianne (Dave) Kass, Michael, Margaret (John) Harlow. Loving Papa Bear of Melissa, Nancy, Robert, Alicia, Pamela, Brian, Stacey, Michael, Anthony IV and Victoria. Loving Great-grandpa of Liam. Devoted brother of James.
