Clan Mackay Society, USA has lost a dear friend, dedicated officer, and loyal member.

Dan Jones passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at the age of 54 after a short illness.

He is survived by his wife, Paula, his daughter Lisa DiGesso, son-in-law Nick DiGesso, his grandchildren, Carissa and Brynna DiGesso, and grandson Nicholas Daniel DiGesso as well as his sisters Peggy Johnson and Alice Wright, and his brothers James L. Jones, Thomas E. Jones, and Robert W. Jones.

Dan's mother, Alice G. Jones and his father, J.W. Jones preceded him in death.

Dan joined our society in October, 1996 and went on to serve as Georgia Commissioner, Webmaster, National President, Southeast Region Vice-president, and Editor-In-Chief of The Mackay Banner, our newsletter.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. I  feel specially honored to have called him friend.
There will be a memorial service at 2:00pm Friday, April 28, 2006
