Donald Arthur McKay 79, of Richfield Springs, N.Y. passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 in Guilderland, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Janette Capellarro McKay; four children, Susan Deeb, Barbara McKay Albury, Laura and Douglass McKay; three stepchildren. Kellee Lymbright, Joseph and Jon Fremante; and ten grandchildren. There will be no calling hours, services will be private.

Don was the first National Vice President of the Clan Mackay Society of the U.S.A., and served in that capacity from 1993 until 1998.
He attended the Stone Mountain Georgia Games in 1994 where Mackays’ from many states as well as Canada and Scotland were guests.
Don was one of the 35 Mackay members from the United States that were part of the 1996 tour group that visited the Mackay Society in Scotland and the Orkney Islands. Don also hosted our 1997 Annual General Meeting in Altamont, N.Y.
He will be missed by all who knew him both here in America, and in Scotland.
